Public Health England encourages smokers to stop smoking from the 1st October every year with this Stoptober 28 day challenge. Paddy McGuinness, Al Murray and other TV personalities such as Phil Tufnell, Craig Revel Horwood and Natasha Hamilton back this worthwhile campaign, swapping fags for gags.
To help you break the habit and the addiction, they are providing a range of free supportive tools which include an app for your phone, tips for quitting and a new stop smoking pack. To join the biggest stop smoking campaign in the UK you can sign up here.
So if you want to give up smoking, why not use Stoptober as an incentive to start? You’ll gain better health, more money and social benefits quicker than you may imagine.
Cognitive Hypnotherapy has been shown to be a very effective way to help you stop smoking. The reason I became involved in hypnotherapy was because one of my friends gave up after after one session. I was really impressed. Alongside my hypnotherapy training, I also trained with The Simmons Method which is a science based approach to stop smoking, which covers all aspects of breaking this habit and addiction.
